A work permit is a document that allows a foreigner to legally work in Poland. The permit specifies the company that entrusts the foreigner with the execution of work as well as the position or type of work that the foreigner is to perform. Only if the foreigner performs the work specified in the permit is the work considered legal. This means that if the foreigner wishes to change jobs (i.e., change employer, position, and/or industry), he must obtain a new permit. Each work permit must include the name of the authority that issued it. Furthermore, the work permit has a unique number that allows you to easily certify the legality of the issued document. A work permit is required to obtain a one-year National visa (long-stay type). Only after you have obtained a visa and arrived in the country can you apply for a residence permit. A residence permit cannot be obtained in absentia or remotely.

In most cases, obtaining “zezwolenie na prace dla cudzoziemca” is required for legal employment in Poland (hereinafter, the Work Permit in Poland). This is a document that confirms the Voivodeship’s decision on the employment of a foreigner. How do I apply for a work permit in Poland quickly and easily? How and where should a document be created? With our company, this will be simple.
